Firebird® Version 2.1

Beta 1

This is the first Beta build of the Firebird version 2.1 series. It is for FIELD TESTING ONLY and should not be put into production systems.

Incremental release notes are available both in the build kits and online. Please use in conjunction with the release notes for Firebird 2.0.1. Supplementary documentation is to be found in the numerous README files in the build kits.

Any of the v.2.1 Beta kits for Windows will require the file Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest in the bin directory beneath the Firebird root. This round of builds was released with this file missing. A link for downloading the appropriate file is provided after the list of kits for your chosen architectures.
