Firebird is used by approximately 1 million of software developers worldwide. High compatibility with industry standards on many fronts makes Firebird the obvious choice for developing interoperable applications for homogeneous and hybrid environments.
Developer's Report: QA Testing and Development
September to December 2015
  • Check daily builds and tests under Linux
  • Report problems detected by daily build and test to the core devs
  • Upgrade Firebird packages in Fedora and Mageia
  • Maintain the Linux build system
  • Update tests with false fails
  • Test Firebird 2.5.5 and 3.0 RC1
  • Update tests that were written for Windows so they pass under Linux
  • Start to work on Firebird 3 package for Fedora and Centos
Working with the test suite under Linux and MacOsx is more and more difficult since the software that help to write tests is Windows only.
We need to think about a new solution.
